Social programme

St John’s College Dining Hall, Oxford, UK

We have organised a great social programme for you. The first day of the conference will focus on social interaction and breaking the ice. On Monday 4th September you can join a historical walking tour around Oxford followed by lunch and a leisurely punting trip on the river Cherwell. The excursion can be selected on the conference online registration form. The conference dinner will be held at the historic dining hall of St John’s College Oxford. The social programme has the following elements; further details will be provided by email before the conference and are available in the Conference Booklet:

  • Monday 4th Sep: Historical walking tour and punting on the river (if joining, please select when registering online);
  • Tuesday 5th Sep: Drinks reception at the Mathematical Institute;
  • Wednesday 6th Sep: Conference dinner at St John’s College Oxford (if joining, please select when registering online);
  • Special evening lecture;
  • Visits to local pubs and eateries.

Accommodation

All those attending the conference need to organise their own accommodation.

Invited speakers needing accommodation will be able to reclaim the cost of their room for six nights, up to the agreed limit.
